2009-10-28 Royal Oak Review - "City clerks expect low turnout for Election Day"
It is actually pretty scary that 1,800 coters determine the outcome of services, tax rate, and leadership of a City of almost 13,000. Local elections have the MOST impact on our day-to-day lives yet the fewest people vote in them. Don't let this happen this year; Talk to your neighbors and GET OUT THE VOTE!
2009-10-28 Daily Tribune - "Incumbents face challengers"
A re-run of the article by Amy Kuras from the Journal Register News Service, that outlines the candidates and their positions.
2009-10-26 Support from Republican Candidate John Witt
John Witt, a Republican candidate during the race for Oakland County Commissioner, was kind enough to offer his support to my campaign. In my opinion, Mr. Witt is the real deal when it comes to conservative values and I thank him for his support.
2009-10-26 Open "Get Out The Vote" Letter
I sent out a letter to voters that typically don't vote in local elections. My intent is to engage the "silent majority" in the politics that most directly affect their lives. Either way you go, my hope is that you vote!

2009-10-11 Observer & Eccentric - "Luebs, Hack dueling again for mayoral seat"
A recent article by Mr. Kowalski, whom I had the opportunity to interview with last week. Hopefully, we will have more of an opportunity to discuss the issues in greater detail than that outlined here in the near future.
2009-10-09 Kurt Hack to Host "Meet the Candidates Night" at Clawson Manor
I, along with the other candidates, will be hosting a "Meet the Candidates Night" at the Clawson Manor on the 15th. I look forward to the opportunity of sitting down with the residents to discuss my positions on City issues and what is important to them. All candidates have been invited to attend so as to provide a completely open and transparent dialog about the candidates' positions. No formal format has been set, but it typically takes the form of a town hall type forum.
2009-10-07 Response to League of Women Voters
The League of Women Voters (LWV) is a nonpartisan national organization who purpose is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. The LWV neither endorses nor opposes candidates or parties, but it does work to obtain and distribute information to the public on candidates and their views.
2009-10-07 Royal Oak Review - "Hack to run against Luebs for mayoral chair"
Not overwhelmingly happy about this particular article but I do hope that people take the time to research the candidates positions carefully. There is so much more to this discussion than is outlined within the confines of this article.
